Merry Christmas from Moanalua Pack 9! Tonight our scouts hit the streets of our Salt Lake / Moanalua community to help “Light the Night” and wish everyone a happy holiday.

A new school year is upon us! Now is the time to sign up your child for Cub Scouts. Visit the Pack 9 open house on August 22, 2025, from 6:45pm to 8:30pm. This event will be at the Moanalua Elementary School cafeteria. Discover what scouting is all about. Learn about the activities we do throughout the year. Meet the scouting families at this informative meeting for Q&A.

In preparation for Memorial Day our Moanalua Pack 9 scouts went to Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific to pay their respects and do their Good Turn service.

Congratulations to our Moanalua Pack 9 scouts who just graduated and have earned their new ranks! It was another great year filled with wonderful experiences and memories.

The Onizuka Day of Exploration (ODE) is an annual event that Moanalua Pack 9 enjoys participating in. This event commemorates Ellison Onizuka, an America astronaut and Eagle Scout from Hawaii, who we lost in 1986 due to the tragic Challenger space shuttle launch. In fact, 4 of the 7 astronauts on that mission were former Scouts.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! You are the den leader of your family who makes everything possible. Mahalo for ALL you do each and every day!
