Our Mission

Our mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Key Facts
  1. We welcome boys and girls grades K through 5 all year round.
  2. Registration follows the academic calendar and begins in August
  3. Scouts are grouped in co-ed grade-based “Dens”:
    • Lions (Kindergarten) ages 5-6
    • Tigers (1st grade) ages 6-7
    • Wolves (2nd grade) ages 7-8
    • Bears (3rd grade) ages 8-9
    • Webelos 1 (4th grade) ages 9-10
    • Webelos 2 (5th grade) ages 10-11
  4. There are no prerequisites to join a Den.
  5. Scout activities: flag ceremonies, camping events, holiday celebrations, Blue & Gold Banquet (scout anniversary), Raingutter Regatta (sailboat racing), Pinewood Derby (wood car racing), Scout skills, service projects, STEM activities, achievement ceremonies, arts & crafts, sports and games, outdoor adventures, and community service.
Commitments
  1. Pack meets bimonthly Fridays 6:45PM- 8:45PM @ Moanalua Elementary School, Optional Den Meetings (Check Calendar).
  2. 2025-2026 Pack dues: $175 per scout
    (Less than $15 per month!) [Venmo]
  3. Pack uniforms range from $60 to $100.
    • Class A (Scout store): varies
      (Lions: Scout Store Lion T-shirt is also a Class A option.)
    • Class B (Pack T-shirt): $25
  4. Completion of enrollment forms
  5. Cub Scout Handbook (Scout store): approx. $25
  6. At least one scout parent must take the online Youth Protection Training (YPT) course and submit their certificate to their Den leader. YPT Certificates are good for 2 years.
